Fun facts
I really dislike talking about myself. I’m happy to talk to anyone, but when I’m the topic of conversation, I lose my words, literally!
I always loved horses as a teenager, and my first job at 16 was working for a horse trainer in NSW. I was on cloud 9 with my dream job. Didn’t take long to realise that mucking out stables twice a day was no fun! I quickly learnt that working with horses was not as much fun as I thought it would be. I smelled like manure, and I was breathing in hay and dust daily. I lasted 3 months!
I find joy in my two gorgeous grandsons, my 2 daughters and my partner, tending to my numerous pot plants, gardening and walking on the beach near my home in that order
I am a values-driven person with a strong work ethic, and I believe all participants deserve to be treated as I would want my own family members to be treated.
Skills and Experience
I am currently studying a Diploma of Community Services to ensure my lived experience and on-the-job experience are backed by current Best Practice Standards.
Financial Services – Far West NSW TAFE
With both computer and manual bookkeeping (what can I say, I like numbers).
I am very passionate about the work I do, which is why I have joined ARK. It is important to me to work and be associated with a provider whose values align with my own.
