My skills and experience have allowed me to support children, families and individuals involved in mental health services, child protection, hospital and aged care and the justice system. I enjoy working with people to overcome barriers and are afforded opportunities to achieve their goals.
I am passionate about inclusion and accessibility for all people with disability and promoting and supporting Participants to make decisions about their supports that allow them to live the life they desire.
Education and Experience
I have lived experience as a person with disability and am an NDIS participant myself with 17 years’ experience working in community and disability services
I have 6 years’ experience working within the NDIS system, including roles as a Local Area Coordinator and Support Coordinator.
I have also worked for the Department of Education for children with disabilities and in Disability Employment services.
Keen volunteer in a variety of disability and accessibility forums and community events, and a previous member of local Council disability access committees.
