Fun facts
I lived in Japan for 4 years teaching English, and in England for 2 years being a young ratbag
I have a second job conducting inspections of certified organic farms and processors
My partner and I have a cat, Sandino, whose favourite pastime is leaping out to scare the 6 chickens that live with us.
Most of my professional life has been in the not-for-profit sector, with a focus on social and community development, building resilience and sustainability.
I have worked as a support coordinator since 2017 after moving back to Tasmania in 2015. For me, one of the most enjoyable aspects of the role is seeing families build community connections and develop the skills and confidence to navigate complex systems (like the NDIS) themselves.
