From the UK to Vietnam, Darwin to Tasmania, I have dedicated over 20 years career to supporting others. I have been a Support Worker, Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Intensive Case Coordinator, Manager of Supported Living Accommodation and also developed new services.
I am a mother of three children living in Kingston, Tasmania. We are a neurodiverse family. Living with disability has given me an understanding on the importance of inclusion. I strive to create a more inclusive world at home, work and in my social life. I am a calm, patient and positive person.
With a degree in psychology and professional practice studies, I bring a blend of experience, qualifications, and personal qualities to my role as Support Coordinator.

Education
Combined Honours Degree in Psychology and Professional Practice Studies, UK
National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 4 Care Management – Managing staff performance, communication, risk identification and management, health and safety, continuing professional development of self and others, UK
Experience
Over 20 years work experience across the UK, Asia and Australia undertaking a diverse range of roles within government and non-government organisations, including 16 years in the disability sector.
My roles within the disability sector have included support work, Intensive Case Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator (LAC), Support Manager for Independent Living and in development of services.
I have lived experience of the NDIS as two of my children have NDIS plans.
I recently initiated and co-facilitate a peer support group for parents of autistic children in the Kingborough area.
